If you can't get it to start or it keeps crashing find the EXE (SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Assassin's Creed Liberation\ac3lhd_32.exe). Right click it and go to properties, click the compatability tab and set compatability mode for XP service pack 2. Now click the security tab and enable administrator permissions. This worked for me.
