It's because I buy my games by selling items I get from other games. I sell an item for like 5 cents each. When Life is Strange episode 1 came out, I made about 6 dollars from selling items I got in games. I bought episode 1. Episode 2 has come out now, and I made 9 dollars since then in selling items.
